 Hey! I'm Alex, a voracious reader and writer with a lifelong passion for uncovering literary treasures. Ha! So formal and such big words for a fellow reader, right? I feel like anyone who read that immediately believed this to be an educational blog. For those of you who stayed...it's not.  

I fell in love with Young Adult fantasy reads first. I grew up watching shows like Wizards of Waverly Place, Super Heros, Dragons!! TV turned into books like The Hunger Games,  Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Shadow Hunters, The Maze Runner. And then, well... I fell in love with authors like Ana Huang, Sarah J Maas, Jennifer Armentrout. etc. You get the point. Genres, I mean I read anything and everything that falls under romance, fantasy, overall romantasy, and dark romance. BUT, I also love a really good sci-fi, or decent thriller (I do NOT like scary. Literally. The movie IT gave me nightmares for days)
. I decided to start this blog to share my thoughts, recommendations, reviews, and some favorite book related merchandise finds with my fellow readers. 

I work full time, but my favorite pass time is to lose myself within the pages of a really good book. If you see me in out in the public, I either have a book out, or my kindle. I have a really weird obsession with excel and spreadsheets, (yes. I find creating them and using formulas to be fun and do it on my own time). And the most important thing is being a dog and bunny mom! (photos of the children below)

I want this to be a safe space. Somewhere anyone who has the same/similar tastes can comment, share their favorite reads, or just connect with me or anyone else on here to have a bookish conversation.
